20 year limited warranty
Materials and workmanship
For virtually all of our tools, we will repair or replace parts that break as a result of defects in materials or workmanship for 20 years 2. Any additional claims are excluded.
2 year wear and tear coverage
No cost coverage
We will repair most tools at no cost for 2 years from the date of purchase. This includes spare parts, labor and shipping. After the no cost coverage period, you'll pay for your repairs but costs are capped.
Quick repair turnaround
3 day repairs
You will usually receive your tool back within three days of ordering a repair. We’ll even pick up your broken tool at your jobsite and return it to the same place. (4)

Use good cutting technique
For better performance and more work per charge, move the tool back and forth with just enough pressure.
Use water during cutting
Wet cutting helps reduce friction when cutting and can give you more work per charge. Plus it helps reduce exposure to harmful dust like silica.
Use the right battery and charger
Use B 22-290 batteries and a C8 charger with our cut-off saws.
We recommend using two sets of two B 22-290 Nuron batteries to operate your tool. Use our C8 charger for fastest charging.
The tool body of our battery cut-off saws has a similar price to the tool body of our gas cut-off saws. However, when you factor in ongoing fuel costs, gas saws will become more expensive over time in the majority of cases. Battery cut-off saws also have fewer wearable parts than gas cut-off saws. As a result, battery cut-off saws can have up to double the tool life of gas cut-off saws.

(2) 20-year Free-of-Manufacturing or Material Defect Warranty. It is at Hilti’s sole discretion whether to repair or replace the tool or refund the tool purchase price, if spare parts are unavailable. Customer’s mandatory statutory warranty rights in case of product defects remain unaffected.
(3) No Cost Coverage: Some exceptions apply. The no cost coverage period for grinders, petrol saws, screw magazines and DX 9 powder-actuated tools is 1 year. The following tools are excluded from the no cost coverage period: DSH 900, DSH 600-X, DGH 130, DSW 2005-TS, ST 1800, and AG 125-20D
Please note that damage due to abuse, or use not in accordance with the tool operator’s manual are not covered and are charged. No items are excluded from the no cost coverage period and repair or replacement unless listed under the 0 period LTS.
(4) 3-Day Repair Period: While Hilti will aim to get your tools back to you within the stated 3 day period, turnaround times are not guaranteed and any claims in case of longer repair periods are excluded. Hilti is not liable for any damages or losses caused by later delivery of the repaired tool.
“3-days or free” offer is only available until further notice and can be stopped by Hilti at any time, 3-days starts the day-after the receipt of approval for the repair, 3-day turnaround time does not apply in case of force majeure events, weekend and public holidays not included, customer delays not included (no phone answer, nobody to receive tool etc.), outside major cities deliveries not included (major cities include Jeddah, Rabigh, Makkah, Medinah, Yanbu, Abha, Jizan, Najran, Al Kharj, Riyadh, Dammam, Al Khobar, Hofuf, Hassa, Jubeil, Khursaniya, and Tabuk), more than 10 tool repair approvals at once not included. In case 3-day turnaround time is exceeded, free cost of repair is the customer’s exclusive remedy. Hilti is not liable for any damages or losses caused by late delivery of the repaired tool. Exceptions: Measuring / Heavy Diamond tools (wall saws, wire saws),Core bits, high-end concrete detection tools not included.
